Why doesn't LogCat show anything in my Android?

In Some Situations Our Android program executes Sucessfully . but Log cat won't show any messages it will be idle

that situations we simply follow some procedures for Running Tomcat .

click on window -> show view -> other ( expand android folder )-> in that select Device options -> and minimize devices window

click on window -> show view -> other ( expand android folder )-> in that select Logcat option -> and minimize Logcat window

for steps see below picture

in Devices window select your Emulator Id ( like emulator-5556)

Then Logcat Will show messages
